Getting Started

For the longest time - I had an idea to sell art online. However, it has been discouraged by many. In high school I knew I wanted to be an artist. Painting and creating is my passion I love it and would like to do it for a living. However, I listened to everyone who said I could not do it. “You’ll be a starving artist” “You have a kid, you need to provide” “You will get evicted if you try to be an artist full time”. So I went into Marketing instead and I worked very hard. I made it all the way to corporate and as you may have suspected - I was still not fulfilled.

I kept feeling like something was missing - like there was more to sitting behind a computer and a life where creating was my full time. So the logical next steps - I learned how to bake, I figured it’s like making edible art. Yet, was still not fulfilled - so this is me “Getting Started” I am going to pursue selling my art like I wanted to do since I was younger. Not only will I sell art but I want to teach others how to sell art, how to make art, how to express yourself.

Life is WAYYYY too short to do the things that make you unhappy. Cliche, I know but true. I want to share my whole story online, follow along for behind the scenes!
